Principal Dentist
After graduating and completing a Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Cary served as a registrar and then a hospital consultant in India, with the management of trauma and facial deformities being his forte.
He completed his MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow and MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Continuing his education, he underwent training in Dental Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the FGDP. His continuing education saw he become a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (USA).
Cary has successfully conducted training courses for dentists internationally and nationally at the University of Lancashire and the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the latter awarding him with an Honorary Lectureship in 2009 for his contribution to the Faculty of Dental Surgery.
His main interest lies in Cosmetic Dentistry where he has created beautiful natural smiles with composite bonding and porcelain veneers and Dental Implantology.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of Dental Implantology Cary's special interest lies in aesthetically demanding cases and complex hard and soft tissue reconstructions. He trains and mentors dentists interested in Implantology. He is a faculty member of the Academy of Practical Advanced Dentistry which runs a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Implant Dentistry. Sensura Dental is an Implant referral centre.
At Sensura Dental, Cary leads his team driving the ethos of excellence in Dentistry.
Associate Dental Surgeon
Evangelos qualified from National, Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1992. In the same year he started his postgraduate studies and clinical experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the Evangelos, University Hospital of Athens.
In 1994 as part of his military service he joined the Dental department at the 251 General Hospital for the Hellenic Air-force. In 1995 was registered with the General Dental Council in London and started working as an associate Dentist.
From 1997 until 2009 he owned and practiced in two Dental Clinics in London. Through the years he has accumulated valuable experience and continually updated knowledge around all aspects of clinical Dentistry.
His special interest is Implant and cosmetic Dentistry and since 2004 he has treated successfully a large number of patients. In 2010 he completed a two year Diploma course in implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. His aim is to provide the best care and the highest standards of scientific evidence based treatment to suit the patient's needs.
Associate Dental Surgeon
Gurpreet graduated from Kurukshetra University, India in 1996. After graduating she worked in the private sector in Delhi for 4 years. In 2003, Gurpreet moved to London and successfully completed the International Qualifying exam (Part A, B, C) by 2005.
In 2006, she worked in a private clinic in Hendon and enhanced her knowledge in dental field by successfully completing the MJDF exam in 2008.
Gurpreet has a keen interest in restorative dentistry and completed a two years part time post graduate training course in Restorative dentistry from Tipton Training, London. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry.
She has also done short term orthodontic courses - C-fast, Quick Straight teeth, Inman Aligner and is working further to enhance her skills in orthodontics as a General Dental Practitioner.
Outside dentistry, Gurpreet is a mother of two kids and pursues Vastu Shastra ( ancient Indian science of living in harmony with one’s surroundings) as a hobby.
Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist
Devinia qualified as a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist from Leeds University in 2012.
Devinia brings with her over 25 years experience in dentistry. Within this time she worked as a Dental Nurse for over 16 years and has since fulfilled her dream of working as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapistand has done so for almost 10 years.
She really enjoys working with children and carrying out pulp therapy on the milk teeth.
Devinia was nominated and won an award for being most influential Dental Hygienist/Therapist within her dental class and university in 2012. She was very pleased with the accomplishment and has since gone on to be nominated and short-listed as the best Dental Therapist of the year at the 2013 Dental Hygiene and Therapy Awards in London.
Devinia’s specific area of interest lays in cosmetic dentistry in particular HIFU. Devinia enjoys carrying out HiFU and always likes her patient’s leaving happy and content.
On the personal side, Devinia is a huge Formula One fan and enjoys going to the races!
Practice Manager
Claire joined Sensura Dental in 2019. She is one of the friendly faces on the front desk. Claire is always ready to help with your questions or concerns. She is highly committed to good customer service.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and organizing events for her daughters.
Head Nurse
GDC Registration Number - 296075Sian joined the Sensura Dental in October 2021. She has 10 years experience as a Qualified Dental Nurse.
Sian is a very friendly person. Her warm and amicable nature is sure to make for a great welcome for our patients, as well as putting them at total ease.
Outside of work, Sian enjoys spending time with her family.
Treatment Coordinator
Janet comes along with over 30 years of experience in dentistry. Janet formerly worked with the President of the American Dental Society, followed by a number of pioneering dentists on Harley street. She comes with extensive experience ranging from setting up dental clinics for specialists, Implant companies, surgical nursing and managing dental teams.
As our treatment coordinator Janet epitomises our philosophy of going the extra mile. We don't just treat patients, we look after them. If you have a dental phobia, scarred by past dental experiences, Janet is at hand to spend time with you making your experience at Sensura warm and stress free.
Janet is an asset to our practice.
Receptionist
Corinne joined Sensura Dental in 2017. She enjoys welcoming patients into the practice and helping to make the patient journey as enjoyable as possible.
Corinne is committed to looking after your individual needs and is always happy to help.
In her spare time she enjoys pottery and spending time with her family.
Receptionist
Jo has been with Sensura Dental for over twenty years and has recently relinquished her role as Practice Manager to move to reception. Over the years Jo has developed a strong bond with our patients getting to know many of them personally. She has been the face of the practice and has been instrumental in creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Outside of work she keeps herself busy looking after her grandchildren.
